CANCELED: The Human Element

Due to the power outages, tonight’s film has been canceled. 

Thursday, October 17 at 7:00 pm ~ Yarmouth Historical Society and Royal River Conservation Trust are pleased to present a free film screening of The Human Element on Thursday, October 17 at 7:00 pm. This 2018 documentary from renowned photographer James Balog investigates the complex relationship between humans and nature. Balog travels to many locations to meet with people on the front lines of climate change and emerges with a hopeful view about humankind’s ability to bring the system back into balance. The film will be shown at the Community Room at the Yarmouth Town Hall, 200 Main Street in Yarmouth.

The Royal River Film Series, which is planned jointly by Yarmouth Historical Society and Royal River Conservation Trust, is sponsored by R.M. Davis, with cookies by Maple’s. The series runs monthly, except December, through March 2020 with the following films:

11/21: Tomorrow

1/16: Solar Mamas

2/13: Deep Water

3/19: More Than Honey
