Thursday, February 18, 2016 at 7:00 pm ~ Yarmouth Historical Society and Royal River Conservation Trust are pleased to present a free film screening of Chasing Ice on Thursday, February 18, 2016 at 7:00 pm. This award winning documentary follows environmental photographer James Balog as he attempts to capture long-term time-lapse imagery of Arctic glaciers in an effort to gather visual evidence of global warming. The film will be shown at the Yarmouth History Center at 118 East Elm Street. View the trailer here.
This is the seventh film in a series planned jointly by Yarmouth Historical Society and Royal River Conservation Trust. The series will continue on the third Thursday of each month through April 2016.
