Sunday, October 14, 1:00-3:00 pm ~ Plan to enjoy some fall fun at our Field Day at Yarmouth Historical Society’s Old Ledge Schoolhouse on Sunday, October 14 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm. Ever wondered what it might have been like to be a student in the nineteenth century? Take a peek inside a reconstruction of one of Yarmouth’s original one-room schoolhouses and learn all about it. Practice your fanciest cursive, become an expert at the classic game of hoops and sticks, or try your hand at creating some old-fashioned crafts…there will be something fun for everyone! The schoolhouse is located just west of 121 West Main Street in Yarmouth. This event is free and open to all. In the case of inclement weather, please check our website for further information.
