Join us on Thursday, May 7, from 5:00-7:00 pm, to celebrate the opening of the newest show in the Stonewall Gallery: Neo Geo by Yarmouth artist Carol Toner Shane.
Carol Toner Shane has exhibited in solo and group shows around the country. She holds an MA from the Rhode Island School of Design and taught in the art department of Morningside College in Iowa for 12 years. Of her crisp, geometric abstractions, Carol Toner Shane writes: I began to splash random colors of acrylic paint onto canvasses and papers and discover where it would take me. This has been so rewarding and exciting that I have stayed with it. My process of creating order from chaos never bores me. The work is challenging and allows me to focus on color, texture, shape and space. The show will be on view through June 27, 2026.
The Stonewall Gallery is located inside the Yarmouth History Center at 118 East Elm Street in Yarmouth, Maine. Our hours are Tuesday through Saturday, from 10:00-4:00.
