Wednesday, October 28, 2026 at 7:00 pm ~ Join us at Yarmouth History Center for our Annual Meeting and Lecture on October 28 at 7:00 pm. We will begin the evening with a brief business meeting for members to elect new and renewing board members.
Following the meeting, we will welcome Katie Murphy, President of the North Yarmouth Historical Society, who will share some exciting recent developments from our neighboring historical society. From moving and renovating a historic building and expanding access to their incredible archival collection, the board and volunteers of NYHS have been very busy over the past several years. Katie will share with us some of these new projects and highlight the many ways in which our collections complement each other. After all, Yarmouth and North Yarmouth were one and the same town until 1849.
This talk is free and open to the public. It will take place at the Yarmouth History Center (118 East Elm Street, Yarmouth). The lecture series is generously sponsored by the Leon and Lisa Gorman Fund.
